Children with special needs learn differently, some children may show interest in certain skill or aspect of learning in such a great way while some would not.

It is important that the Special Needs Teacher who teaches a child with learning disability understand each childs learning style and how best to use the learning style.

We at Atc consider this alot while drawing an I.E.P for each child.
Learning styles includes..

Visual (spatial) learning style: A child prefer using pictures, images, and spatial understanding while learning

Aural learning style (auditory-musical): This is when child prefers using sounds and music to learn

Verbal (linguistic): This involves using words, both in speech and writing to learn.

Physical (kinesthetic): You prefer using your body, hands and sense of touch to learn.
